idea

My idea was to create a calming coloured application that of pastel colours inline with nature and themed towards a plant app. I have called it PLANT I short phrase for plant index.

The app itself has many functions mainly to do with an organic and healthier lifestyle offering everything from fitness to healthy eating and plant care for people who love plants. My main audience I am aiming for is vegans and vegetarians or anyone typically interested in this area of a healthier life. this includes children but the app is aimed more towards adult and teenagers. The app itself has a main purpose of getting people to take photographs of nature something to get people outside to document plants, plant garden, research nature and learn new things about creating natural based everyday things people can use and make themselves in a fun creative and educational way.

HOME PAGE

The home page shows the daily tracking essentials of the most used section of the app, daily track, daily presence, goals, reminders and recent posts. displayed on the page is the side bar icon the page icon a photography button and the persons profile the bottom tab displaying all the other parts of the application through icons. The icons can scroll from the left to the right showing the other.

Side bar shows itself after using the small button on the home page at the top left. The sidebar itself access other functions of the app by buttons. these buttons are search, picture, profile, notifications, gallery, postaplant -online part of the app and settings.

 

These two pages are the opening pages for users to sign up with an account and to sign in after leaving or logging out of the app.

The settings tab allows user to access and change data that control and operates the application each button brings the user to another page which allows them to enter data.

Postaplant is an online part of the app like Instagram users can post pictures of their plants and recipes of shared tips across the platform from other peoples opinions and ideas. This page allows users to see their profile name, picture and bio. the app also allows user to see recent online activity, follows, followers and likes. The buttons at the bottom include home page, search, likes and saved posts.

 

The fitness page in the app is a part of the app that tracks the users data towards fitness the user simply inters information towards the statistics button and food balance. Input is needed to the app can track the users walking distance and how many calories or exercise has been done per day. The button food balance tracks how much water and food is consumed such as calories and what not, statistic turns this information into data of pie charts and graphs to show the improvement of the user. exercise introduces the user to different forms of  fitness the user could do and the activities button shows to user different activities like sports games the user can get involved in.

The beauty and lifestyle page introduces organic ways to beauty showing the user through the different tabs of buttons that connect to other pages in the application such as makeup, skincare, DIY skincare, deodorant and clothing this page explores the uses of nature and plant in skincare recipes and natural based products.

 

The medicinal page shows users how to use natural based products to help with self care like herbal teas that can relax it also allows people to keep track of mental health teaching people the fundamentals of basic care. these buttons are supplements, medicine, dental care, carbon footprint and mental health.

The recipe page is an index of different types of ways you can make healthier food by recipes.

 

The gallery is a page where compiled images of all the photographs of nature the user takes is displayed and framed.

The plant index page is a huge search engine for all things plant and nature related as well as everything related in the app and all the apps different pages and functions. The index is an online system and search engine that allows users to find information and educate themselves.

 

My plants is the page that documents each plant the users home grow and own. on this page the user has different profiles for each plant with images and names. the buttons at the bottom allow users to explore different aspects of their plants such as , delete, statistics, plant growth and add

The plant growth button from the  bottom of the my plants page leads to the page called plant growth where shows a more in depth display of information on the users plants. This feature also tracks the plants sunlight intake and water intake to make plant care abit easier to manage for the users. this page also allows user to have a bio on their plants as well as a learning button where information is arranged about the species of their plant. this comes from the plant index page.

 

EXTRA PAGE

The statistics page explores in a more informational way the data of the plant from the my plants page. from this page the user can understand ways to improve the health of their plant.

 

Here are additional pages where the button on the main pages take the users such as fitness. in this image each page is labelled however not finished as their are many more functions to be added towards this idea and development of the application.
