ENVIRONMENT

ENVIRONMENT CLASS

There was four classes of environment in which we were to draw world around us this included using different materials and perspectives.

on the first day in my group our workshop explored around the ulster university campus and we drew and studied the buildings outside close by. at the start I struggled to complete fast pace sketches and studies however over times I believe I improved and learnt how to draw faster.

using different materials and doing art rather than thinking about the process helped to form new fast working ethics and different ways of using elements in the picture to represent parts of the drawings I didn’t have time to draw. Overall I improved with my time management and my fast working skill set. these studies also allowed me to expand my focus by using large sketchbooks which I had never done before such as A3 and A2.

on the second day when we had our work off campus I went out and explored Belfast collecting a range of photographs to use as drawing material in order to continue the work.
