Leigh Ellexson is an illustrator/ artist based in Cincinnati Ohio. She runs her own personal store towards her illustrations she posts her art on Instagram and she also makes YouTube videos. From running her online store she sells her own merchandise and from other platforms like patreon and YouTube she gains income from the support of her fans. Doing so it allowed her to follow her own pursuit into the industry and became a freelance artist. She started her illustration business on Etsy in 2015 and completed a lot of commissions.

Leigh Ellexons art is very illustrative with the theme always being revolved around animals and nature. Using gauche watercolours ink and colouring pencils as her main art supply she bases her colours around an expressive bright colour palette that gives a sense of happiness. Her style is simplistic cute and stylish always using the focus of lines to add impact. She typically surrounds her illustrations in nature such as leaves and flowers. For each particular illustration she makes she designs them as cute as possible with small eyes and cute poses with a main primary colour for each that tends to compliment each other. She usually illustrates cute versions of bears and tigers theming the animals around a cute innocence with colours that really flourish and compliment the white space on a page. the art being simple its easy to identify the animal and artistic shape. Alongside traditional art she also takes use of digital art.
