David Houle in the video starts of by briefly touching on the definition of futurists, telling people how he is one and references the growing new industry of art and design. He goes on to explain the simple tools of man kind millions of years ago how the tools through history developed towards an innovation based way and became tools to create art. limited technology is what made these artists amazing. How their ideas changed the world and created new knowledge for all sorts of people. He references great people like Michelangelo. he explains the type press and how it made literature. David Houle in the video explains how from this we got people like shake spear.
years further art now became less realistic because photography came about and it was better than art so people pushed the boundaries instead of always painting having to draw from life they used their creativity instead. from tools to literacy , photography then technology. everything advanced into new ways of art like sound. all this innovative technology allowed these amazing artists and creative people to spread their work around the world. he goes on to give examples to elaborate on what its like today. in this video I believe he tells the audience how new creative and innovative ideas lead to the mind expanding beyond reality and that anything was possible. this lead to humans building and creating cars and technology that has advanced in everything today.
