Morning Class:

We were supposed to have a meeting with Michael at 2:30pm to discuss my current progress and receive feedback but it was moved up to 11:30am.

 

-Feedback-

– Add an establishing shot after power on

– Gumball is still juggling but no one’s paying attention (gets hit on head shot)

– Change Lolli to smug looking when they go face to face

– After pick up, Camera tracks his hand as he picks up the paper [looks furious]

– Texas standoff (camera pan)

– make sure the cake flings fast

– Add a touch more anticipation to the crying scene (sniffling to full blow meltdown -[waterfall of tears])

– make peace before the pose for the camera flash

Homework/Assignment:

For homework, we focused on adjusting the storyboards and animatic. Danielle worked on a test animation for Gumball and I worked on importing my model into Unreal Engine to add a toon shader. At this point I’ve only got the outlines working but next week I hope to have a working toon shader.

-Toon Shader (WIP)-

The first attempt kept covering my textures so I decided to make the toon shader as a post-processing material instead.
