For the second day of the photography workshop, we had to take photographs to tell a story and create a photobook to present the photographs that we chose. I was inspired by my cat and him noticing his own reflections within 3 different mirrors, showing the development of him not looking at the mirror to then starting to realise it’s his own reflection however, I wanted to put a twist on his reflection, by giving the viewer how a cat would act seeing another cat. To do this I gathered different words from a variety of magazines to identify my cat’s emotions throughout the photographs. I really enjoyed constructing and understanding how to create my very own photobooks and capturing my cat within mirrors to capture an understanding of the behaviours of a house cat in everyday situations showing my cat making friends for himself in the mirror.
