Graphic Design Logo concepts and final products using Adob

This is the first logo concept made in Adobe Illustrator. The main inspiration was wordplay based on how much of a deeply connected community Cathedral Quater is, represented through a puzzle piece. The letter was chosen to complement the rounded edges while the black background provides a contrast.

This is the second logo concept made in Adobe Illustrator. The main inspiration was to bring together parts and objects that represented areas of Cathedral Quater-churches (stained/coloured glass), galleries/art studios (paintbrush), restaurants (spoon), and bars (beer mug).

 

 

 

 

This is the third logo concept made in Adobe Illustrator. The main inspiration was experimenting with lettering and the brick walls found throughout the city. This is the fourth logo concept made in Adobe Illustrator. I tried to bring in brighter colours and a line of motion while focusing on the idea of stained glass.

This is the final logo based on my second concept, made in adobe illustrator. I added in blue liquid as an element to animate and changed the paintbrush for a pencil to make a more recognisable object.


This is the final logo based on my first and third concepts, made in Adobe Illustrator. I kept the theme of bricks and puzzle pieces but added a 3D aspect to the piece.
