Choosing & Refining

With a few ideas under my belt, I decided to pick which parts of each that I liked most, and combine/refine them into some higher-fidelity wireframes. This way, I have a more solid base to work from when designing my mock-up screens. I know this isn’t always an entirely necessary step, but I like to know exactly what I want each screen to look like before I move on.

I am still not sure, however, the direction I want to go in for the log bowel movement screen, as well as the tips and advice screen. Because of this, I decided to start designing each of my ideas for these screens in Figma. This way, I can see what they might look like with my styling applied – and decide from there! I will keep these on my Figma file so that I can continue to refine the one that I like most, and then include that in my prototype.

I still have two variations of the possible log-in screen. I think I’ll use one similar to the first screen, however, as my loading screen, then use the second as my log-in!

Thoughts:

I like really how these ideas developed! I am also looking forward to bringing them to life on Figma with my styling included. I really want to try and keep the screens looking consistent – without being too utilitarian. I think, with the same tile look across the board, this could be a difficult feat, but I am going to use a variety of colour, and some other screens with a slightly different layout in order to try and break it all up a little.
