Here are a few instagram posts that I’ve created using Figma. These instagram posts consist of my experimental lino prints from my sketchbook and from my typography books. These posts are like example mock-ups towards my final A1 poster, so in these posts i’ve included: the name ofthe gallery, the name of the exhibition, the names of the artists, the date the exhibition was on and their website link. I really like how there is a great balance of colour in some of these but i also really like the black and white and it looks very effective.

Heres another typography book which is very similar to my previous examples. Here i attempted to experiment using marker and coloured paint pens to create various amounts of ideas that include the words of my chosen exhibition, The Golden Thread Gallery. Personally, I really enjoy experimenting scale and compostition, as i thnk that it helps balance the designs which a few of them can appear more simplistic. I also like to include a variety of elements such as: shape, pattern, colour and angles, which makes the designs look more effective.

Here is a quick mock up of my finalised logo using photoshop. So i’ve chosen a background image to use for this logo and then edited my logo ontop of it using photoshop. I really like how this idea has worked and i personally think it looks more professional.

Here i tried to experiment in many ways to generate a final idea for this project. my intention was to try a variety of shapes, colours and styles. I also tried to incorporate images from around the Cathedral Quarter area to use as backgrounds.
