Graphic Design – protest presentation

As a group we had to come up with our own protest ideas. My protest idea was based on climate change and everyday environmental issues, which I had researched about . Together we had decide to go with a protest about the money issues we have in everyday life meaning that the majority of many people are struggling money wise. My role for this presentation was to create a protest poster/banner stating “Eat The Rich” and also reading certain areas of the power point presentation.

Games Design – Board game ideas

This workshop we had to create an idea for a board game. Our idea was to create a drinking game called “Blackout” which would have different challenges the whole way around the board but you would either spin a bottle to see what it lands on or roll a dice and move a figure to what number you had on the dice.

Animation – Digital 2D/3D software

For this workshop I had created two moving animated designs using a website called krita. One was based on just a ball moving back and forth and the second one was to create a bouncing ball.

Illustration – Compound Words Digital Designs

Here I have created my previous sketches based on compound words. Out of all six sketches I had kept my initial sketches black and white then went on to experiment with colour digitally. I had also chosen two from the six drawings and created them on figma.

Illustration – Compound word sketches

These are a series of illustration sketches based on a variety of compound words. Firstly, I had brainstormed different compound words, then choose six of those words and created initial sketches to then create on figma.

Interaction Design – App Design

This was a group project based on plagiarism, together we brainstormed a variety of ideas to create an app that would help guide anyone or especially students against copyright. My role for this project was to create a mind map, a keyboard and the logo.

We had an idea of a traffic light system, which will show a traffic light icon on the website with the following colours of red, yellow and green. When one of those singular lights flash it will indicate a percentage of how much you may have copied from either a reference or another website. Anything greater than 10% a red light will flash, anything between 5% and 10% will flash yellow and anything less than 5% will flash green.

There is also a setting of a Harvard Referencing Conversion and a chrome extension . These settings are to help with a variety of options such as: assistance with essay writing, spelling, highlight text, references or research.

Our website layout was to have a side bar menu, a drop down menu that will show all the options and icons, subscription’s, a chat bar for when you can chat to others participating, lecturers posting lessons, group calls and discussion’s, an online library where you have the chance to access any books, resources and an online quiz based on all topics.

For advertisment purposes, we would share this app on various social media platforms such as: Instagram, Tik Tok, linkedin, Facebook, playstore/app store, YouTube and Twitter, which you can also install or download from.
