The homework task for Week 5 in our 3D Digital Literacy module involved us modelling a helmet using a reference from history or fiction of our choice and exporting it to Substance 3D Painter to fully texture it.
I personally found this homework task to be the most challenging due to mistakes I had made in the modelling process early on that had caused me to spend much more time correcting them before I could move on to the rest of the task. This has taught me to be much more careful when modelling in the future. Thankfully, texturing the model and adding the lighting in Blender proved to be much easier and I got a better understanding of Substance 3D painter as a result.
