This week we had a group cirtque. I was eager to see what Paul and my class thought of my designs for my app through their feedback. I also enjoyed looking at other designs in comparision to my work. I made sure I give some honest feedback to their work as well. reviewing feedback from the rest of my class as well. It felt great receving some postive feedback on work which will help me to improve my app further. I felt I made good effort in my designs. Paul said it is shaping up well and I should use more of my  excellent photographs to help bring everything to life. I’m gladed the like my image I took I will use more of them. Myself and my peers felt it was a great start. It is working progress and shall continue to work on in my design.

Here is the image of my orginal travel app design.

This week I spent time planning my app. I designed mind maps of my initial ideas and sketched out a few rough designs of 6 pages for my app.

This week we were given another master apprentice excercise. This time we asked to recreate two city images instead of travel icons. Below is the orginal images:

I used the website coggle to create a mind map of different ideas for creatig my travel app. This is a good way play to help plan what I will include when designing my own travel App. Below you can see my mind map with a my various ideas.

During Friday’s Class Paul asked us to recreate some well known Icon’s assiocated with travel. Here is my first attempt at creating some these using figma. I choose these I thought they were the easiest to recreate and I liked the look of them. This is good pratice for basic me when it come’s around to creating my own Icon’s.

During Monday’s class we were given a task to design our first name through the use of Geometric shapes. This could be circles, squares or triangles, etc. Here are examples of my designs that came up with. These both were designed using figma.
