Morning Class:
During this morning’s class Henry gave a quick introduction to today’s class. Next he gave a lecture on the process of design that covered what design thinking is, the use of emotional design and positive design. Afterwards, we looked at quick things about poster design, Tomasz Opasinski’s poster design categories and some example film posters. Moreover, we covered how and what we need to start designing a poster and the importance of fonts and how to choose one that fits with your project.
We took a quick 15 minute break then looked at previous final years posters before jumping into the activity.
—Activity—
For this activity, we were asked to choose a font or fonts for our project and start creating some rough designs for our posters.
