Vic Bell has worked with well-known brands such as Uber, Scratch and Burberry. For these brands, she designed icons.
Her icon art style is clean, simple and easily recognisable.
Bell goes through a full creative process, trialling different styles and sizes of icon before she produces the final piece. An example of this is the Burberry icon collection:
The thing I like most about these icon illustrations is that are very easy to understand, Vic Bell still manages to put her own style into them.
With the Burberry set, Bell said that her approach was to keep the general style looking “vintage” to match that of Burberry.
A designer that knows how to meet the desires of their client is definitely someone to look into for inspiration.
