Testing my Wireframes

To make sure that my UI will be easily navigated, I decided to conduct a quick user test on it using the Marvel app.

Doing a user test on Lo-Fi wireframes is a good way to fix any flaws early in the process. It will allow me to re-iterate my ideas in the same format as well, before I get into the digital design.

Seeing as the group critique is in a couple of days, I didn’t have enough time to do more than just one as I still need to choose the styling of my brand, as well as create mock-up designs of three screens.

One should be enough for now, as it’s really just to get an idea of what needs to be changed or fixed before I actually start designing the mock-ups.

Here is a PDF of my wireframe usability test.

Thoughts:

There obviously isn’t too much to work with at this point, but luckily, the user navigated through the wireframes really easily! I’m quite happy about this, because it means that I don’t have to make any big changes to the design at this point – and also that I have designed an easy-to-use interface (so far).

I’m now looking forward to designing my first few screens in Figma, and I feel a lot more excited about my idea now that I know the user enjoyed their experience with the wireframes.
