Travel App Development

After researching and looking at a few different travel apps available on the app-store, as well as some prototypes on Dribbble, I have decided to make my travel app an app to assist people backpacking through Europe.

Almost as soon as I came up with this idea, I came up with the name “Backpack Buddy”. I was thinking of how I could use alliteration in my app name and I thought this way was perfect. I then did a quick mind-map/brainstorm of different things I will need to consider when creating the app prototype including colour, icons and screen ideas.

I haven’t seen many available apps for this particular type of travel before so finding specific research may be hard. However, as long as I come up with the right plan, it could still be alright to execute well.
