For this task, I chose to base my work on the ’70s, more specifically the “flower power”/hippy/”peace and love”, period of this era! I decided on a tight colour scheme for my pattern designs to ensure a cohesive feel. I didn’t want to choose the obvious, bright, almost tie-dye-inspired colour way, so I settled on a muted pallette that I feel goes perfectly with the spiritual, grounded, connected to the Earth feel.
