For our assemblage, our class came together to build it fairly intuitively. We edited it a little once the majority was done to ensure all areas had equal amounts of interest. Once we all took a step back to really take in our work, we almost immediately decided on the name – “Let them eat cake”. This is inspired by the feeling of high-class and low-class folk we felt were perfectly depicted in our scene – with the high-class woman on the left, and the poor folk climbing to get to the top. I really liked our end product. I think there are so many interesting points in this assemblage and I’m very happy with the work we managed to create in such a short space of time!
