Meeting:

With the poster process after we had done the sketches and talked about how the base of everything would look like, after we had done that each one of the group would have the task of making an idea of the poster and see which idea would look best and also put together the ideas of poster style.

 

 

So after everything we had a meeting where we talked about how the poster would look with the final ideas, we really liked Joyce’s background idea where a landscape image was used where we liked it a lot and it would look very cute and fun combined with our topics.

 

 

Our characters:

 

Also in continuation our group had the idea to make some characters of our own as inspiration of characters from Hayao Miyazaki movies. Joyce made a character inspired by The Cat Returns, Jessica from Spirited Away, Chloe from Princess Mononoke and me from My Neighbor Totoro.

 

 

After we had made the details of our characters our group arranged to go to uni on Wednesday where we would be together to finish the poster and also check the notes that would be put on the poster

 

 

Together in class Chloe started to import all the images in Photoshop where the poster would be made, we were choosing the best positions and angles of the items that would be placed on the poster. For the fonts part our group worked together with each one sending ideas of fonts that would match more with the poster style we made. The idea was a cute and more modern style with the film style that Hayao Miyazaki used to make.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Also doing the font style process Chloe was testing different colour tones to see which colours would suit the title of the poster and for the font style we ended up choosing the ‘Ghibli’ style which suited the poster much better!
