At the time of this post, we decided to focus all of our attention onto environmental design. I created an updated level design for our submarine and highlighted the main rooms for us to put our attention into. Below is the new level design layout, detailing room, door, etc. placement, environment colours and minigame locations.

We then divided up the important rooms between us so we’d have an even workload, with me creating the “Personal Quarters” room at the top of the submarine, seen below.

The main idea I had for the main character’s personal quarters designed to be shoddy, so I got the idea that the main character is implied to sleep in a fishing net strung up by hooks as a hammock, along with the room mainly being taken up by boxes.

The purple and blue textures seen in the room are provided by one of our group members, which I used to create additional texture colours. Furthermore, I also tried making the fishnet hammock prop a 2D PNG imported as a plane. This has been changed to a 3D prop in the final version.
