We were tasked with creating an art style guide for our game project. We chose three to work on individually which we would then develop and decide on the next week. I chose to research a Clean Sci-Fi art style, and began my research and development of the style.
I collected references for different models of submarines to brainstorm ideas, along with from different games that fit the sci-fi style that I personally found appealing. Below is a screenshot of the environment section of the PureRef of my Deep Sci-Fi research and early sketches I made.
Moving on, I then looked into different nautical references and character design ideas for what our playable character could look like.
