A week before our first semester of our second year in Animation, we were given an induction talk and activity for the first, second and final years to participate in before going into the new year as a way of getting to know each other across different years and to get us back into the flow of working on projects.
The task we were assigned was to take paper plates with eyes painted on and, as a group, to walk around town finding objects to stick them on, which we would then animate and collate together in a presentation folder.
In my group I was assigned with:

We walked around town and did our best to snap pictures of whatever we could find. at the top of the post are the animations I ended up creating of two of the objects I chose, below are screenshots of my progress animating, the list of objects we collated and the photos our group took. I used two separate methods and animation styles for each, and as a result I am quite proud of the work I put in, which allowed me to feel more comfortable transitioning into the new year.
