In week 9 for our Animation Studio project, I had finished my animatic for my segment in our worldbuilding group project. Initially, as seen with my storyboards, I had more shots planned for my animation, but due to time restraints and a different use of timing for my sequence of events, my animatic has been reduced from 8 seconds to roughly 6, along with two of my planned shots not being able to be used.
This week I had gotten an upgrade in my hardware, hence I greatly enjoyed creating my animatic shots and experimented with a few animation techniques such as secondary actions and squash and stretch, which are techniques we’ve gone over in previous weeks.
Below is my finished animatic, some parts are not as detailed as others, however they convey the idea well to be used for the final animation’s creation.
