Week 6 – Application – Content and Overview

This week we started of by discussing a list of ways in which you can apply your brand. Here is what we came up with as a class.

• Apparel (Clothing)
• Merchandise Literature (Leaflets etc)

Daniel then gave us time to create our own business cards. We already had access to our wordmark, typeface choice and monogram or symbol to design the business card. It was just a matter of deciding on layouts, appropriate positioning and colours. The standard size for a business card is 85x55mm. We were told to consider both sides of the card.

Reflection –

I was quite excited to do this task as I feel that when you see all of your ideas coming together collectively, it feels like you’ve accomplished something. Daniel also provided us with some useful resources we can use to get our cards printed. I am going to wait until I am 100% confident with my design, but I can’t wait to try.
