Animatic 1
This week is all about the technique called Animatics After creating the storyboard for the small project I used the program know as Adobe Animate to create the Animatic, using elements like Keyframe, Layers, Paint, Eraser and more. The end result was quite rough, especially with the timings of some of the events (long middle and short). T his feedback did come up in class, but overall the tutors felt my work was well put together if the backgrounds were a little hard to make out
Animatic 2
The 2nd version of the Animatic created over the weekend and took the feedback on board. Colour was added to help show depth and give clarity to the visuals. I also adjusted the timing of some scenes (added and removed frames). Whilst it is not yet prefect, it is a lot better than it was before. One fault to the second animatic is how messy the layer section is organised, even with some new folders it is still hard to navigate.
Conclusion
Overall I am still happy with my work and it it just a means realising the animatic is there to serve a greater goa, i.e: the creation of the main animation. The group meeting this week in class was to offer feedback on each other works and confirmed our ideas for the animation.
