Idea Generation

This week we were told about our new brief, which is making an investor pitch.

We first did a Menti poll to give Daniel our thoughts about last week’s session.

Daniel then explained that, for our product pitch, we should aim for our pitch to last for 5 minutes, with another 5 minutes for a Q&A.

We will be pitching a digital product ie. a website, app, eBook, game etc.

Daniel said that we should take risks with our ideas, and think out of the box. It’s easier to simplify and dumb down an idea, than it is to make a boring idea exciting.

 

Daniel then suggested this process to follow for coming up with our idea and pitch:

Daniel then split the class into groups to go off and brainstorm some ideas together.

Since I was online for this weeks lesson, I did the brainstorming myself, and then some friends from class also sent me photos of their section of the post-it board.

Here is my initial brainstorm of ideas:
