Typefaces

 

As another task for next week, we were asked to choose the potential typefaces for our digital product.

This took me quite a while, as I was being fairly picky. I had a basic idea of the kind of typeface I wanted to use for my main title, but finding a suitable one for the body copy was what I was finding slightly more difficult.

I ended up choosing a typeface called Square One for my headings and title. Since this typeface was very bold and boxy, I wanted to find a more casual typeface for the body text.
The issue was that I still wanted my body text to have the same type of character that the headings do.

As I scrolled through different typefaces on dafont, as well as Adobefonts, there weren’t many that I saw as contenders.

I eventually ended up looking through the fonts available on Figma, and came across one called Mina. This is a nice, readable typeface that still has a similar personality and look to it as Square One does.
