Brush Part & Problems Brush :

Intro:

For the part of working with the brushes I did some research and watched some tutorials where they would help me IMPROVE specific details. To begin with, I looked for details that would help me with the visual side of my character, so I looked for textural details that would look good on my character.

Image Texture:

I used Photoshop to help me with the brightness and contrast to help me with the textures. For this part, I wanted to use textures from the VITORIA REGIE plant.
I didn’t find it difficult to work with Photoshop and make the edits before moving on to Blender.

Important image brush:

After editing in Photoshop, I imported the image that ‘simulated’ the plant into Blender, where I used the image to make the top of the dress more detailed and the body with a smoother texture like a game character to give the skin a ‘ghost’ look.

Ideas of Brush:

After a few attempts I used an image of the brush on the top of the character to be my ‘main tool’.

Problems:

In the modelling process, I had a few problems making the sculpt in the eye area (eyelids, pupil, sclera and iris) parts that wouldn’t be very apparent but that would make a lot of difference to the character; also in the nose I had some difficulty in some camera positions the nose looked strange but with a few adjustments I managed to improve the look of the eye and nose.

After these small delays in the head process and having managed to make a small change to the character, I began to have some doubts about the TEXTURE to understand how to make the details, at first the images selected to be imported didn’t work in the brush because ‘Multires’ I had forgotten to change the subdivide in Blender but after watching some tutorials that were done in class I was able to use the brush tool.

I had a lot of fun preparing the ‘Brush’ and made some fun textures following the guide images and techniques that were taught. It was a long process because on the way to making the petal brushes, problems started to appear, such as errors in reading the images and problems with the files, making them very slow, so the way I thought of solving this problem was to leave it the way it was and export it to Substance 3D Painter where I would make the textures and draw the details of the petals.
