Exercise:
When it came to the hair, I had to start studying and understanding how I was going to do the hair, I had to do some research and understand a bit more about what style I would like to do. To begin with, we had to practice with some exercises in Blender where I tried to sculpt and also model to make some different shapes for the strands of the hair.
In the process of making week 7 I had to do a lot of research to help me better understand how to work with the hair part before I started making it on my character, so I started practising on a woman’s head in blender where I chose to do the modelling style.
Styles Hair:
For the hair I researched different hair styles which helped me a lot to prepare my character’s hair. My character is a messy-haired character with a designer sleeve, with thin and thick strands. My idea was to make the strands normal and others like twigs that would match my character.

Also after doing the hair, I took the opportunity to do some research into ideas for presenting characters, which was a good help in terms of how I was going to present the characters, so I could get some inspiration for how to start the portfolio.

Process:
With the hair process I didn’t have much difficulty. I used the curved modelling style, which helped me understand how to move and work with the shapes of my character’s hair. Because I wanted a more sleeved style, as was shown in the references, I thought it would be better to model the model to work more with the movements of the shapes.
