Characters :

In Week 8 we had the job of making three characters that were inspired as an integral of a character from Hotel Transylvania. In this research I ended up making three different styles of character inspired in animals and also in zombie.

 

For the first character:

I made a zombie with the female gender, that already contain in the movie Hotel Transylvania (Zombie), also inspired by some details of the movie the Corpse Bride of the main character. My intention was to do with the same details and styles that the Corpse Bride has with some similar tones like blue and purple in the zombie trying not to leave the style of Hotel Transylvania.

For the style of my character I wanted to make a zombie with female gender with the style of the corpse bride with the body all torn, cut and bruised for the clothes I was inspired by the style of clothes in the series ‘Winx’ with skirt and a tope. At the beginning of the idea I started sketching the character and then I transferred it to the iPad to add colour and texture to the character.

 

 

 

Second Character:

 

In the second idea I made a ‘Squid Woman’ my idea was to make a squid with the gender of woman that was a little more charming and attractive. For the inspiration part I used a character from a ‘Little Mermaid’ movie using as character the villain of the movie, with the detail of the clothes I didn’t want to do with many details of dresses but with details of the squid body like tentacles.

 

 

 

 

 

To make the squid woman I did some research and ended up getting very interested in the villain character of the little mermaid that is a squid and with the designer of the face of mavis from Hotel Transylvania with that I used these ideas of guide for the face of my squid and also some ideas of clothes and designer of the body of the squid.

 

 

Third Idea:

For my third idea I made a character being a lizard that has a more serious style with a suit and tie look with a cane and hat for a more serious look. As inspiration I used a real lizard of the species ‘Lagarto de Agua’ which has the colours of green and blue and some designer ideas as character ideas.
