Introduction to HTML
This week we were first introduced to HTML (HyperText Markup Language)
First, we took a brief look at the history of the world wide web, from the first web page to inventor Sir Tim Berners-Lee. We took a look at the development of the web browser and the chaos that ensued, to the establishment of the Web Standards Project and the move towards an open and accessible web.
Our first task was to create a markup of a sample text about john Baskerville in HTML, i used the programming software Atom for this.
