#IXD101-Week 3- Golden Ratio

this week we looked at Da Vinci’s Golden Ratio this is considered the perfect example of the Fibonacci sequence.

The Golden Ratio is the number used when two quantities are divided in a way that their ratio is the same as the ratio of their sum to the larger one of the two quantities. the easiest way to demonstrate this Golden Ratio is by using the Fibonacci Sequence. This Sequence is a series of numbers in which each numberĀ is the total of the two numbers before it, EG 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, etc. This sequence then creates the Golden Ratio spiral.

I found this very difficult to get my head round at first as I couldn’t understand where the spiral came from, however with some practice, it became easier.
