Overview.
This week, we studied the advanced features of both Maya and Substance Painter to create walls to create an environment and after that I would get together with my team as we would continue working on the forge project.
In class.
In the first class of the day, we learn some of the way an environment can be made. The idea was to create a default elements of wall, pillar, window, roof, door and floor, and thought the method of copying and pasting build a building like a Lego set out of Lego bricks. Because of the complexity of the video instructions (the assets where being made to a professional level, with moulding, texture lighting, etc.), the tutor allow the class to try the process in our own time. When I competed the test, I will post the images down below.
After lunch, I enter a group discussion with my team members. We talk about how the project was getting along. I also took the time to confirm my roles within the team, as even after all that time in lockdown I am still not use to using the team management website Trello. To mark it down here I am designing, modelling and texturing the weapons and armours, created in the forge. I spread the rest of the time collecting images that would help me design Celtic weapons and doing a quick mock up or a helmet in 3D modelling program Maya, to understand some of the tools I could used like edge loop.
At Home/Rest of the Week.
At home this week I did not do that much work towards the project, at it was my birthday week. I would takes some time however To catch up on my blogs.
