Days Before Class

Leading up to the animation studio class this Thursday (with all classes now being held online due to a second lockdown coming soon), I continue to work on my project work for group 4, Hybrid Animals.  Due to still waiting on my pc to come (which it did on the Friday of this week) to download Adobe Suite, as well as celebrating my birthday over the course of the last weekend, I ended up doing three pages of pencil sketches and then went over all of them with an inked pen.   Each page was dedicated to one character based on my designs drawing from last week.  One was the main antagonists was an evil cyborg scientist.  Other characters were, a deadpan hybrid animal i.e: a mix between a kangaroo and an elephant. and a zombie cyborg hybrid drone animal i.e: a hybrid between a jellyfish and a crab.  The drawing also helped me come up with the names for the two characters.  I also took time to write up the bio and traits for the evil scientist (now going by the name of Dr. Raymond O’Sullivan). I am very happy with the ideas and the finish bio for the character, but I do need to write up an online version of this bio later as I only managed to complete one bio, due to the length of the template document.  Granted I only need to do one, but I was looking forward to at writing more.

Thursday Class

On the day of the Animation Studios class I joined my team Group 4 and we shared our work with each other.  This was also the day we could pick which group projects to work on,  to pitch for, and create a demo animation.  I chose to remain in Group 4 with at least 3 of my other teammates.  I have grown fond of this project and I already have an idea of the overall story and plot.  When it came to the tutors and class members reviewing my work, I was pleased that the results were positive with the most points aimed at the story and worldbuilding.

Homework

New week I will fix up the blog (and catch up on any missing entries) as well as if I have time add more to my character development.  I will also be working on the villain’s side with the evil plans and his hybrid monsters.  My other two team members will work on the good scientists and animal hybrids who are looking to break free out of the facility.
