IXD303: Week 11 Reflect

This week was a one-to-one tutorial to receive feedback on our healthcare app so far. Here is the feedback I received and the changes I made based on this.

The back arrow should be smaller and more subtle. Currently, it is drawing too much attention to users unnecessarily. I am going to look at back arrows on other apps to give me an idea of the standard size I should go for. I think the updated one looks much better and more suitable icon size.

A small change I needed to make is lining up the bullet points with the subheading. This will make it look cleaner and easier to follow as you can see below.

On the alerts page, I had 2 ways for the user to navigate to the map to track the panda’s location. This was through a button and the other was an image of the map. However, it was advised that I choose 1 of these as 2 is not needed. I decided to go for the button as this is clearer, and users will know how it works. I also moved it on top of the image of the panda, so this page is sectioned better. This screen now has 2 clear sections.

I had a red box surrounding the alert, this was to draw attention to it. However, this may not be needed. I have tried removing it as it looks more minimal and simpler.
