First things first, here are the notes I wrote out on what was covered in this weeks lecture…
The focus of this weeks lecture was Immersive Storytelling and the importance of considering micro and macro interactions to to so.
Before this lecture I don’t think I actually knew the differences between macro and micro interactions before so needless to say I learned a lot. This lecture taught me how valuable micro interactions can be in providing truly immersive experiences for users and we looked at a bunch of great examples from the likes of Space x and Apple that make full and effective use of them.
Going forward for this project and future ones I’m definitely going to put a lot of consideration to those micro interactions and how I can use them to make my experiences more immersive and flowing.
