This weeks tasks was to focus on character design and trying to draw different poses or expressions for each. Please note that more design will be uploaded very son and are in progress.
Joe – Name originating from the phrase “a cup of joe” (relating to coffee). Joe is the so called leader of the coffee mafia, or so he thinks…
His attire makes him look as if he wants to look classy but cannot stray too far away from his casual and smoky New York roots.
Al Cappuccino – Name being a reference to the famous actor, Al Pacino. As this name allows me to link to some of Al Pacinos character traits from his past roles. I decided to make Al Cappuccino a violent criminal with a hitman’s agenda in the name of the Coffee Mafia.
His attire gives off a loose and careless look, allowing him to get into the heads of rival gang members by showing them that they really don’t mean anything to him or stress him whatsoever.
