Life drawing/ Colour Collage

These drawings were quick pose drawings, the subject would pose for 2 minutes and then change positions. This helped loosen up a bit before doing more in depth drawings. I think the drawing on the right has more life to it and I do prefer it more than the first drawing of the multiple poses.

These drawings were made by using white pastels and willow charcoal. You would move the charcoal on its side to get more tonal attributes first and then work it in little by little with more refined lines.

This was the final thing we did on the second day of the workshop, we created an abstract colour collage of the poses we had drawn the day before and I loved the way this came out because I wanted it to resemble a heat map or mountain ranges on maps and I had achieved that in this collage.
