Board of ideas for film
Our theme was escape so after getting into groups (Ellen, Andrea, Nicolle and Aaron) the first thing we did was write all of our ideas down. We wrote some things about escapism but thought that it was too vague for a story. We instead went for more simple ideas for escape such as-
-Roomba chasing a cat
-Popcorn tries to escape box and succeeds. Ends up getting vacuumed up afterwards
-pins trying to escape a bowling ball
-A magician escaping a box as a magic act
-toys trying to escape a claw machine
The idea we decided to go with was toys escaping the claw machine as designing the toys and the arcade sounded like it would be enjoyable.
Introduction to animation. Experimentation of ease in and ease out and squash and stretch following the video on it.
I made this animation while following the video on it.
I then made my own bouncing balls with examples.

I believed that animating in 3D would be very difficult but it was more straight forward than I thought and the line graphs were not hard to get the hang of.
