Colour to tonal studies
As I only joined the fish group, I didn’t create any monochromatic images for it, so I’m instead using a Mickey Mouse one. For this piece, I used dark blues and greens for the mountains and made the lighting very dark to add to the dark and creepy atmosphere of this piece. I also made the micky mouse robot dark blues so that the red of it’s eyes stand out the most within this piece to give a sense of danger. I also made the claws red and the light on the girl on the mountain red to draw the audience’s eye to both of them and what the girl’s situation is.

Over the Garden Wall colour script. Warm colour of the sun stands out against the cold greens and blues.
Bright red and blue of the character and car stand out against the greys of the dump. Bright cartoony puppet characters juxtaposing the realistic dull setting.
