Overall I am pleased with how this project ended up turning out. The final result on the poster is clear with relevant information relating to style, history and narratives explored in Cartoon Saloon. It would have been nice to squeeze in some more analysis or history of Irish animation in general however the legibility of the poster was more important.

I think in future I would maybe draw some more of my own graphics for the piece to make it more unique as I mostly just edited pre-existing ones to suit our needs. Generally I think I managed to fit the brief.

This really helped me to learn how to use Photoshop as it was a program I have been looking to try so the opportunity was really helpful. I think trying to learn a new program while creating the poster may have held me behind in achieving the fullest potential.

I also think if I was to do this again I would maybe try to experiment with the layout some more as I feel like I almost played it a little safe. I may have stuck to my clean graphic inspirations too much and not made it as artistic.

The group aspect worked well as we all had clear defined roles. I struggle with group work so I did pretty well with it this time around. I think I am slowly getting more comfortable in group settings as time goes on.
