Case Study 3 – Monzo

This one was a tough one to choose as it could be a couple of companies due to the niche my modern bank brand was targeting, as my brand was going down the route of cryptocurrency and blockchain technology but blending it with modern banking that we know today it was touch to find one brand that fits both of these criteria. As cryptocurrency and blockchain technology is still new to society and still finding it’s purpose within the world I had to consider direct competitors like Coinbase, Exodus and Binance, but overall I think the direct competitor for the modern banking side of things would have to be Monzo. I use Monzo on a daily basis and I have never had any issues with them within my 3 years of banking with them, I think their customer service is excellent and accessible and their products and services are extremely easy to use which is something I aim for in my modern banking brand project.
