Week 12

Due to some feedback the whole group got, and a small group discussion, we decided to slightly alter the hunter’s animation, instead of him holding his shotgun, we decided upon using the ax model, and then making it so he’d carry around the ax to kill the main player character instead, this made the game feel a lot more cohesive, and “realistic” as we discussed, the hunter wouldn’t go around shooting up his house for no reason, he’d try and hunt for the player character using a less messy weapon.

Fixing up the animations for the hunter was the easiest bit, as It was just a case of moving some of the arm joints and adjusting keyframes.

I then discussed this with my group, and they agreed that I should add in an idle animation, to give the hunter a bit more character, and to make it obvious to the player that he’s not moving.
