Week 2

For this week, the group was deliberating on a “forced perspective” type game, where the background would look smaller than the foreground, making giving the game a unique stylized look, however In one of our meetings we couldn’t come up with a decent way to implement this into our game, so I took this week to come up with a small concept for the game, which hopefully we could emulate in our game. 

 

I basically ended up creating a shoebox with a canted door that fit our forced perspective and using the crow model so far I then made a short animation to demonstrate how a door transition would work. 

I proposed this to the group and they seemed to like it, however with our style of game-changing with each meeting we have not fully committed to this idea, so I finished off this week by working on some possible texture work that could be used for the outside environment.
