Week 6 IXD301: Submition for feedback.

This week was another personal tutorial session for the students. to help iron out some aspects of their portfolios. I submitted mine via email as I felt it wasn’t fair to expect an in-depth dive into my portfolio giving the fact that there are so many to get through. I was given some really good feedback in a video format.

I was told that I was relying too much on a column system throughout my case studies and so I am working on that a lot this week. My thinking was that for the responsive aspect of my site I would keep the structure as simple as possible so that it could be viewed on mobile as well as full-screen computers. I took this on board and have restructured some aspects of my site and am actually feeling better about it.

I was also told that my intersection page had to have a navbar and footer, I decided to move this part to a section on my homepage also in order to create a more interactive way to get to specific case studies.

I added some background images that I created on figma by simply placing a few images of each project side by side to create a divide in the colour and hopefully more visual stimulation.

I have already purchased my own domain name last year and have been trying to link it up with webflow with some difficulty. I will need to do a little more research into this.

I found a video guide to linking my webflow site with my godaddy domain., I have to create CNAME record on the godaddy side and input details given to me by webflow, I have now successfully linked my webflow to my godaddy domain.
