First 3D Model- Table and Chairs

So for my first task I had to make a table and chairs, and this was quite a daunting task for me as I had never tried any sort of 3D software or modelling before. So I tried my hardest, followed along with the example and with some minor hiccups I made a recognisable table with some chairs, and suddenly this wasn’t so daunting!

I actually had fun trying to break down shapes and remake them out of primitive shapes, so I went back and added some colour and even a floor and some walls to make it look like a room.

After taking a step back with some new found confidence in blender I decided to remake it but also try to improve on this design. Using a brand new file I went to remaking chairs and a room, adding smaller details like a cabinet in the back and some basic paintings on the wall, skirting boards and even some plates, finishing it off with some nice warm lighting.

After making these I realised that 3D modelling is something I could find interesting and I’m excited to learn more about this area of animation in the future weeks.
