Week 5 Homework – Character Designs

Working on collecting references and ideas for the character(s)

Over the next week I would work on catching up on the work I hadn’t finished as well as on the assignment corresponding to this week.

I gathered several references for the character and began with the body shape as well as facial details and a little practice on expressions.

I would continue with some more work in my sketchbook, but would largely do the rest on digital.

After some more experimental sketches I went on to make some sketches on clothing and overall appearance. To a small degree at least.

The last piece was a turnaround reference page for the character  that I completed on Saturday.
