Protest Design

This design for Black Lives matter Features 5 different clenched hands usually associated with Black Lives Matter being 5 different shades of skin colour with the words “Actions not words” written below it. The phrase actions not words is meaning that unless they take action, nothing is going to change because they won’t listen to words. Having the 5 different shades of skin coloured clenched hands means that anyone of any skin colour is allowed in to help them. This piece was created by adland shortly after the death of george floyd and was trying to influence other companies to start supporting the black lives matter protests. Adland usually advertises news so doing this made it visible for a lot of people who use the site. They had open letters with 200 advertising leaders to spread the message across about george floyd, when this had started they had a lot of people tweeting on twitter too about it so it spread the message even further through people with a lot of followers.
