This piece of art was created by a guy called Mechi Shakur, it shows a police car running over a bunch of things that people have been protesting about like George Floyd, Civil Rights, Economic Equality etc. This was made as a piece of street work so people who were just walking by would at least see it and to have it more known to the public. This piece was more aimed at all the protests that have been happening for black lives matter. The artist Mechi Shakur wanted to show how many black people had been killed by police so he spent the first part of the week writing their names. He wants people who haven’t been directly affected by police brutality to at least have some insight to how bad it’s been for others who have. The action of the car driving over all of the names and problems is symbolism for the fact that the police are just ignoring them and that they don’t care.
