On the second day of environment, Howard had us sit out the back of the university with all our materials and draw/paint some of the buildings we could see as well as a closeup of something we could see as well. Then we were brought back up to the studios, showed off our work then were asked to paint another painting of a building we could see out the window from the position of our choice.

Below are the drawings/paintings I did that day:

I think most of these paintings/drawings turned alright except for the cross of the cathedral as the proportions of it are off. I also think I could have defined the shapes of the bottom right building better as well as added more detail to it.

I think the best of the four drawings is the top right one as I feel that it has the most detail in it compared to the others even if it doesn’t have much colour in it.
